Gostilna pri izviru Hublja

The Pri izviru Hublja restaurant has a really pleasant location: in nice weather you can sit in the pleasant garden, shaded by lush trees.

The restaurant has room for 60 people, and the garden can seat 80 at a time.

The restaurant is run by the Pižent family. Stane, Zdravka and Sonja are the waiters, the head chef is Tomaž, and his assistant is Denis. Stane Pižent is an old hand at his job, having been doing this job for over 40 years. Zdravka Pižent is a true housewife who conjures up a homely atmosphere with her friendliness and homemade desserts. Tomaž Pižent is a chef by heart and soul. He gained his experience on the Slovenian coast and abroad. In 2000, he represented Slovenian cuisine at the Sydney Olympics. To serve their guests even better, Tomaž and Sonja completed the 1st level of sommelier training. If you are driving through Ajdovščina after a few days of rain, a visit to the source of the Hubelj River and the inn next to it will remain in your memory for a long time - the water, which thunders from the steep slope, then gushes so violently that it enchants even regular visitors every time.
